Why Did the Practice Begin?

After working for traditional law firms focused on supporting large national and international businesses, Founder, Mimi Soule, realized that the local, small business community did not have same sufficient legal support on human resources law and employment law compliance. Our mission is to efficiently navigate small businesses through employment decisions to help them avoid unnecessary risk and legal costs.


What’s the Goal?

Our goal is to ensure that the small business community has the knowledge and confidence to make strategic employment decisions necessary to grow their businesses.

We actively work towards this goal by:

  • providing educational resources on human resources compliance and legal requirements;
  • providing proactive guidance to avoid litigation and employee claims;
  • providing financial predictability by working with clients on a budgeted estimated or fixed fee basis;
  • drafting and revising employment policies and agreements to clarify obligations and improve enforceability;
  • investigating and resolving employment claims and disputes to avoid expensive law suits; and
  • creating partnerships with small business service providers to ensure that clients are provided with the best resources for any matter.
